extend b-engine

b-engine uses a AMP architecture — Apache, MySQL and PHP. So, you will need a server that supports these tools to run the application. b-engine will run on UNIX systems: Linux, BSD, Solaris and OS X, for example. It works with versions 4 or 5 of PHP.

b-engine has its own secure variable scope, so it can work within or alongside other CMS or e-commerce systems that use AMP-based architecture. Use b-engine's include files and be-variables (functions specific to your b-engine publication) to add b-engine features to an existing PHP site.
